Alan Smith
National Director for Local Marketing, Boys and Girls Clubs of America

With more than 20 years of leadership experience in brand marketing and business development, Alan Smith brings a diverse background to his role as National Director-Local Marketing at the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. His responsibilities include strengthening Local Club Marketing capacity by offering turnkey marketing tools, assessments and strategic marketing plan consulting services; and driving fundraising and membership recruitment growth with an ROI mindset.

Alan has experience in a broad range of industries such as Consumer Packaged Goods, Television Media/Entertainment, Sports Collectibles and Non Profit. Before joining Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Alan worked with such leading brands as The Clorox Company, Miller and Coors Brewing, Turner Broadcasting, Public Broadcasting Atlanta, Upper Deck and start-ups such as the High School Sports Show Network and the Nucleus Business Development Agency.

Alan holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management- Northwestern University and a B.A. in Economics from Clark Atlanta University.

Alan lives in Atlanta with his wife Katrina and daughter Alana.
